Kramer, Darlene (Marriage - 15 June 1952)

The Trinity Lutheran Church provided the nuptial setting at 1:30 P.M. Saturday for the marriage of Miss Darlene Kramer, daughter of Mrs. Anna Kramer, Unity, and Delmar Pieper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Pieper, Loyal. Rev. Witt officiated at the ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of net-over-white satin featuring a fitted bodice and a full skirt that extended into a long train. Pearls trimmed her sweetheart bonnet and she carried a bouquet of white and yellow carnations with streamers.

Mrs. Arthur Olson, Milwaukee, sister of the groom, as matron of honor, was attired in an off the shoulder yellow net over taffeta costume and carried a colonial bouquet of yellow and white carnations.

The two bridesmaids, Miss Juliane Mandel and Miss Gail Edblom, were dressed in gowns of green and orchid net-over-taffeta, respectively. Each carried a colonial bouquet of carnations to match their frocks.

The little flower girl was Karen Pieper, Loyal, sister of the groom. Her frock of satin petal pink was trimmed with lace. Gerald Spatz, Auburndale, a nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Attending the groom were Arthur Olsen, Milwaukee, brother-in-law of the groom, as best man and Edward Kramer, Abbotsford, a cousin of the bride and Calvin Bombard, of Spencer, as groomsman.

Arthur Olsen and Edward Kramer also ushered during the ceremony.

A supper was served in the church parlors to 100 guests. Guests came from Catawba, Milwaukee, Auburndale, Abbotsford, Colby, Loyal, Marshfield and Granton.

The bride received her education in the Unity High School.
